Hi group.

Does anyone have any pictures of how they installed their T-motors when the casting deck has a lip? I am installing an iPilot on the front of my skiff but need to remove the old quick release, place a new quick release more forward and somehow mount to get the motor to go over a lip on the bow.

Any ideas of what people have done in the past?

and if you check the installation instructions it will tell you the exact minimum clearance the new motor will require (between the shaft and the edge of your gunnel, when the motor is in the down position....). The advice to add a spacer underneath is right on the money - make it as wide as you're able to spread the stress from an elevated TM...

Aren't boats fun?
