Rob - what’s the top end you are getting with the 60R and the Pro tunnel?
I have a 50hp Tohatsu short shaft on my Whipray with a Jack Foreman prop and stiffy compression plate. I get in good conditions 31 knots (34 mph). I think with a 60hp that could scoot to 40 mph.
I have 3 props for the skiff. A foreman, a baumann, and a mercury spitfire 4 blade that bauman put some cup in. I have not run the spitfire prop yet.
The foreman isn't a speed demon, 30mph is about tops for this prop give or take 1 mph, holeshot is great.
With the Baumann I was able top go 34-35mph and it got out of the hole equal to the foreman.
Fastforward to today, I've been running the foreman lately, because I wore the Baumann out. I recently had the Baumann worked on and haven't changed back to it because the foreman is performing so good. Maybe get 31 mph out of the foreman now and the holes hot is as good as the day I got it.
Both are good and I'm curious how the 4 blade spitfire with cup will perform.
Both the foreman and Baumann will run 6 on the JP and hold.
