I’m not sure if this has been explained/covered in a previous discussion, why did maverick stop making the HPX-T? It seems like a very versatile Hull and everyone that I know who runs one has nothing but good things to say about them. Also they are very hard to come by in the pre-owned market.

I talked to Skip Lyshon at Maverick a year or so about it. He said the mould(s) were pretty old and beat up and they opted not to incur the expense of making new ones. By then they had introduced the HPXS and were committing to that as their model for those who wanted something with less deadrise than the HPXV.

I sold my 2002 HPXT for something like $17k back in 2010 when I bought my current boat. I bet that 2002 would still fetch that much or maybe more.
