Gulf Shores Marina is now accepting applications for a Parts Department Manager for our full service marina, in Naples, Fl. The Parts Manager plays a key role in our management team and is responsible for all aspects of the parts and retail department. Must be highly organized and have excellent customer service standards.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Manage day to day operations of the parts department, assist management members with decision making, direct employees to solve problems
- Take an active role in company sales
- Ordering and receiving of parts daily without error
- Assure proper inventory levels
- Assist over the counter customers as well internal repair order jobs
- Accurately quote and sell parts and retail items
- Uphold a high level of organization
- Possess good phone skills
- Maintain and advance knowledge of all supported products and services offered
- Monitor Parts Department performance with metrics, including revenue, profitability, and efficiency

Ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and skills:

- Must be a resourceful person, who takes pride in their work
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Background in marine industry and familiar with engine and boat systems mechanically and their associated repairs
- Excellent computer skills, ADP Lightspeed a plus
- The ability to up-sale
- Great at multi tasking.
- Knowledge of profit and loss statements and inventory reports and how to use them to improve overall business success

Requirements for Parts Manager:

- Minimum 3 years experience as full time parts manager
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of marine industry and marine boat and engine systems
- Non-smoker
- Ability to work up to two Saturdays per month
