Work got in the way these past few months of making it to LA. I'm finally going to have a few days off in March, debating if I should load up and go to LA or just stick to Texas. Any input? Have the big bulls left by March?

bulls are year round in LA, but the conditions in which you fish them change seasonally. Main issue in March is wind, but those few nice days we have in March are some of my favorite. If you can pounce on a weather window, then definitely do.

Gonna be windy both places. At least in deep south Texas the Sandy bottom keeps the water clarity tolerable in the wind. But I'd probably pick LA for the po'boys.

In my time, I have noticed that our wind on the Texas Louisiana boarder is often about a month behind schedule. Wind is in April and rain is in May. Not always, but this has been my observation. Now when it does start, it blows like hell.

I like the AVG wind table for the Texas coast speed in knots.
Not sure how many wind measurement
stations were used, but the wind force gradient is north to south. The Sabine wind is a puff compared to the Rio Grande.
