Thinking about a new 20hp 15” with electric start and tilt. Warranty at 5 years is a plus as well. I was between the Tohatsu and the Yamaha 25 but I’m leaning towards the Tohatsu. Will an Odyssey 680 be enough to run the motor and run tabs, gps, and nav lights? How do I hook up the motor to charge the battery? Seems like a good motor with regards to weight/power/price and power tilt is a huge plus.

I have a 680 on my skiff; it runs the electric start Honda 30, tabs, jackplate, chartplotter, bilge pump, lights, and gauges just fine. I've only had it since May, but I don't anticipate any issues.

I have about 30 hours on my 20hp Tohatsu and so far I love it. Granted, my build was super budget so mine is all manual (no power tilt or start) but the motor has met all of my expectations so far. From everything I read, I don't see how you can go wrong with one.
