I have a 2008 Gheenoe NMZ (15'4") that I just got. Fished it a couple of times and the only major change I want to make is to remove the bench seat/livewell in the center. Both the front and rear decks have been extended. Can I do this?

I think that there are more gheenoe's on here with the box cut out than ones with it left in. So a search and you will find many.

That's what I was thinking but I was worried that they were made that way.

how do I remove the center section? Is it part of the floor or glassed in separately? I know nothing about fiberglass.

Cut it out with a saw and grind it smooth, just don't cut through the hull.
