Im in Jacksonville and am always down to fish, if your ok with a former bass fisherman now wanting to learn inshore, and also would love to learn how to fly fish. Currently putting the finishing touches on my skiff, a custom made that im finishing out with electronics. Anyways, couldn’t teach ya anything but im always down for new fishing buds. I still have a lot to learn about the water here. My work schedule permits me to fish tdurimg the week a fair amount. Anyways hit me up if you’d like.

Well I'm out in Colorado, but I spend 2 months in lower keys during poon season. Poon is my obsession, but I also fish for bones, permit, snook, and always ready for jacks to swim by.

I’d love to fish the keys , but it’s a decent haul for me. Do you own a place there ? I used to live in south fl

Lol, no I don't own place there, I wish. One of my best friends used to but he sold at height of market I just rent there now. I used to live in south Florida 77-82, then lake Mary area 82-91.

What’s 2 months vacation rent like down there? 5k ?

I havent been back near there since my in-laws left apalacicola. Have the fish moved way back in the marsh yet?

I think it’s a mandatory requirement for all new transplants to fish out there..lol.. But it honestly is a great area, with several different options. Also a great a place to donate a prop or lower unit to the fishing gods..😂😂

Flagler Beach here. I primarily fish Ormond Beach to St Aug. Full disclosure, 90% of my trips revolve around tarpon. Hit me up.

I’m bout a hour from ya , I’d be game to give my 8wt setup a breaking in on a tarpon. You fish the ICW I’m assuming ?

We do the same thing. Cost about 10k a month to rent a house on the water maybe a bit less in Big Pine.

Good food … a lil pricey for what you get.

I fish with him up there but he is into grouper fishing and he is good at it.

I'm happy to fish either Thursday or Friday pretty much every week. I'm also new to fly fishing but the club has been great for learning!
