Maybe a dumb question but can someone please explain to me the appeal of these Livorsi controls? The boat I currently run is a tiller steer so it's somewhat irrelevant other than my shear curiosity but I am picking up a new skiff after December and every time I've seen these Livorsi controls I can't help but think "yeah they look great but what is the benefit of having two control sticks and how is that supposed to work?"

Pro- short quick shift through gears. Just bump it back and forth while it stays at idle. Great for docking and tight creeks.
Con- they leak like a sieve and are best suited for a pilot house or side console on skiffs
