Thanks for the quick reply, also do you guys leave the clicker on or remove the clicker off, seems pretty annoying to reel and hear clicking noise but don't know how I feel about no hearing the drag once engaged
Unless you have a lot of fish getting you to the reel I wouldn't think the clicker would be an issue, most reels are setup this way. I had a reel without an outgoing drag clicker and I missed the sound of clicking when the drag was engaged.
I have a Guru 3 on my 8wt Mangrove and LOVE it! My buddy had a Litespeed on his and another friend uses a Litespeed or a Hatch 7 plus on his. All the mentioned reels are great, but my 3.0 has a slender profile and balances perfectly.
I went ahead and purchased the 3.5 has a lot of backing, and not heavy at all balances out nicely and definitely a set up that can be casted all day. Thanks for the input guys
