okay. Definitely bragging. Covid and bad weather leads to the devils handiwork. Live in Key West, just came off of a 25`
hunter sailboat and didn't want a larger boat till I learn the area. Lots of shallows and islands to explore 1 mile or 7 away from my location at MM0. Daw this skiff/sup that needed work ans saved a bundle... popped for a tohatsu propane 5hp engine and not much else. I noticed it was hotter than hell after free diving and spear fishing so I knew a bimini was a desperate need but no biminis to fit what I wanted. Had to be high enough to stand, not catch a ton of wind, and ... wait for it, could be used as a sail in and emergency. Yes. I said sail. I found an 8' aluminium bimini for 35$ and set about it with manic ferocity. Ultimately, I'm happy with my hodges bimini and looking forward to splashing, tomorrow... i love this skiff/sup. Thanks for reading... T View attachment 151117 View attachment 151118 View attachment 151120

Do you think a breeze might dump it over?
Well, my hope is the bungee pulling it back will pop but while underway I will collapse. Pops down quick and out of the way. We had a 8-10 kt and wind whipped through.... little flexing but held... i guess I could say maybe but I have stood on the rail (240) and nothing...
