I had one on my last “skiff” and sold the lower unit and got a prop. It was too much of a pain trying to get it set up right. I think if you have a hull made for a jet it will work great but you can’t just slap a jet on any hull and expect great things like speed, control in turns and reverse at the dock.
I've had jets on other hulls, so understand their function. Just looking for others experience as to how hulls like on. Carolina skiff handle the different propulsion.
I’ve ran jets on multiple skiffs and will continue to do so. They take some set up time but when they are right, you ain’t getting any shallower without an airboat, helicopter, or hovercraft lol! Where would you be running it mostly?
