What hull was this mounted on? It looks like the outboard was mounted on the wrong side based on the corrosion lines.
It was mounted backwards on a 2002 whipray 17.8. We used it to lower the engine in the water cause it was a short shaft.
Just kidding that’s tattoo that the starboard engine plate left. I’m sure most that stuff will clean up pretty good.
