I really like the Rio Directcore Bonefish on my Exocett. Its a half heavy with a bit more weighht towards the front for good loading in close without bogging down my attempts at longer casts.

When I'm wading, a floating line is my go to, but on a skiff in deeper water I recently did well with an intermediate line. I didn't love the taper and now I'm looking for a new line.

Does anyone know of an intermediate that has a taper similar to the Rio Bonefish? It seems like we have thousands of possibilities for floating lines and intermediates get no love.

X2 on the Cortland camo, they used to market this line as the Little Tunny and I have used them for years for both stripers and bones with no real complaints. The braided mono core can get a little soft in extreme heat. I especially like them in the wind.
