Been looking to power up my boat with a 30hp and have been calling local dealers in Miami but no one has any engines in stock. All engines are on a 8-12 week back order. Does anyone know of someone who has a new Suzuki or Yamaha 30hp engine in stock?

Nope. There has been a few threads on the same topic and the same answer - negative. Give the dealer a deposit and get in line is your best bet.

Remember, buying local means you are buying a relationship.

I was just in the market for a Yamaha 25hp and no one had them. I called San Carlos Marine in Ft Myers and they had three. No idea but I would at least give them a call to see.

All engines are on a 8-12 week back order.

This gives me hope. I am currently on week 4 of my wait. Also to save you some money, a Suzuki 25 is a detuned 30. With very little effort it can be put back to a 30hp. Not sure what the cost difference is but it should save you a little bit of money.

There’s a dealer in Miami called sea power, ask for jack he can help you out
