Buddy of mine spoiled me yesterday. Went on a fishing expedition on his Heron 16 and he even let me drive it around in the back creeks. I was smitten with it. I’m a big and clumsy guy (6’2 and 260) and he’s my height and skinny. We both at one point were on the front deck casting and it was STABLE.
What impressed me the most was it’s handling. My buddy was going a little quick to get us back to the ramp, and the way it cut corners In the creek and handles other boat wake in the main river, as well as the chop from the wind...
