we (my brother and i) recently came home from a day out on the flats and when we came home and were washing down the hull ( 2002 high sider) on the trailer i noticed that from underneath in certain spots of the hull, light was able to penetrate. there are NO holes, cracks, or stress fractures. the color of my hull is red and in the spots i was concerned about it is simply a noticably lighter red. is this anything i should be concerned about???

    It's fiberglass and resin.
Light passes through it quite easily.
Without gel-coat or paint, you can see shapes through the hull.
Inspecting hull layups is done with a bright light outside the hull
to see the defects in the layup from inside the hull.
No worries, unless you get fractures.
