With so many used Gheenoes online... how do you to tell a Highsider from a Lowsider Gheenoe other than running the HIN with Gheenoe? It might seem obvious to those well versed in all things Gheenoe. I know the sides are lower or shorter BUT it is hard to tell in photos sometimes. Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong part of the gunnel (rub rail height in relation to seat or the actual sides of the boat before cutting back in?). Thank you for the help.

It can be hard to tell the difference from a photo. Chances are if the Gheenoe was made after 1990 it is a Highsider. Just to add to the confusion there are many models of Gheenoes out there besides the Highsiders which can be 15'4" or 13'. The title for the boat will tell you the year it was made but not necessarily the model. Good luck with your search,
