Im currently in the market to get my first skiff and thinking I will buy brand new. It will be used to fish all around south east Louisiana. I have narrowed it down between the Salt marsh 1444 and Shadowcast 16. I would really like to demo both boats before choosing but the shop has no demo boats. Is there anyone near Louisiana that’s would be willing to demo?

Good luck, have the SC 16 and love it. Heard great things about the 1444 also. I'm sure there are a few guys within a couple hours of you that will let you check them out.
