Got word this week there will be a new Cayo 173 headed for Texas in the next couple of weeks. It's been a looong dark winter, this is usually the time I fish most. Any how, I'll post up some pics and first impression report when it gets here.

Well, so we missed it by a couple of weeks or maybe 5 or 6, then a week or 2 to the the registration paperwork lined out, but hey I got to go run the new Cayo 173 yesterday. I can honestly say what a BLAST! Looking forward to getting back to more of a simplistic approach. Been a little absent from MS over the last couple of weeks because I have something to do now, work on getting my boat like I want it.

So, so far I'm about 3" below the bottom of the boat with the propshaft, but I still have a few tricks up my sleeve to try to meet the goal of having the propshaft even with the bottom. The Tohatsu 50 on this boat is a lotta fun looking forward to getting it broke in.

One more thing, I would never insult my girl by saying she is "TIPPY", but she damn sure is RESPONSIVE, lol. Better have your ballet slippers on!

Hoping to get a few pics posted soon.......
