It has tiny amount of cosmetic wear on the bottom of the butt of the rod from contact with the bottom of a drift boat. I have included detailed photos. Cool, thanks for the info. I was looking at the #5 for an upcoming South island New Zealand trip. Do you feel the Zephyrus Is an adequate rod for lighter presentations or is this more of a rocket launcher for windy salt water applications? Thanks in advance, Doug

Hardy has two different series of the zephrus, the fws (freshwater) and (SWS). The fws in my experience are all quite versatile. Extremely smooth and are quite accurate and do very well from 20-60 ft. For really long shots there isn’t a more powerful freshwater stick than a Scott radian. The zephrus is not quite as powerful at long distance as it’s predecessor the zenith.
