This will make a great fall/winter redfish/trout rod. Delicate presentation but can punch a small weighted fly into a decent wind.

I have this rod in a 6wt... Definitely a great rod for fall and winter Redfish. I was worried when buying it that I wouldn't be able to use it in the wind, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it throws flies in less than desirable conditions!
