Custom built FS18 technical poling skiff is for sale.  She's sitting on a fall 2008 built custom aluminum Rocket Trailer, and powered by a 2007 Honda BF20 20hp four stroke with no more than 30 hours on her.  Motor is mounted to a TomC electric Jackplate.  Boat runs skinny and poles even skinnier- 5" all day long.

$6000

Bump.

Nobody wants to buy a motor/trailer/jackplate/trolling motor etc then get a hull for free? Thats what this works out to be.

that is a beautiful rig.

Hang in there, its a tough market right now. I'm sorta guessing but I think you're a bit out of most guys fun-money stash, price wise. So I'd bet many of your potential buyers are going to have to look at conventional financing, which is very pricey (12.5%+) right now, even with impeccable credit. Plus its a home built hull, not 9-5 banker friendly collateral there. The sad irony there is that hull is probably better than most name brands because of the way you built it.

The engine, trailer and other add on's are first rate though. If you can't use them on your next boat, you may want to consider selling them separately. I doubt you'll have much trouble moving any of that stuff individually. Then you'll have that gorgeous hull on its own and be able to price it better for the DIY'r that has a little money to work with, but not a lot of time to take on a build. Let them scrounge up an engine, trailer and what not at their own pace.

I feel for ya man, not much else compares to what you put into building a boat like that. Good luck what ever you do.  ;) - eric

Want to add that I may be interested in "interesting trades" for the boat.

I've got a few projects around the house that I wouldnt mind having done in exchange for the boat. I'd like to get a new roof put on, need new countertops (quartz preferably) and would like to do some built-in cabinetry/bookshelves/desk in my office.
I'm also interested in a good condition 1992-1995 Ford Bronco.

If you've got any of these items, or an otherwise interesting trade let me know!

Hornetbear you have a PM.

Gonna have to pass on the car-I'm not a car guy.

To the more recent poster-I built the hull based on plans I purchased from www.bateau.com.

I am in Ft Myers but unfortunately the boat is in Ft Walton Beach in the panhandle (staying out of the elements in my fathers garage)

Wow, looks like the hull, platform and jackplate might be sold already.

Who's interested in a kick azz aluminum trailer and a Honda BF20 four stroke 20hp with tilt/trim and minimal hours for a good price?
