Anybody fished out of one of these skiffs? They look pretty solid. Wondering draft and how they handle in the chop?

Original BT guy. Made in Minn. Nice looking boats. Not sure they are still in production. I think it is an evolution of a BTX but nor sure. I looked at them about 5 years ago and went with a BT strike. Not sure I wanted to deal with a boat made in Minn in case of issues. No other real world info

Correct Jim Dismore from original Beavertail was part of that start up. Was a great guy to deal with. Not sure of Fly Boat Works current status or quality. If they are around and he is still part of it, then it’s at least worth a call.

They are really good guys.
Gilk brothers.
M Fisher put me in touch with them when I decided to convert my old BTX from a tiller to a side console. The f18 is based on the BTX.
I used the Fly console and they were really helpful and supportive of my project.
If you’re interested in one of their boats I would give them a call.
