That sure is as nice a boat as any of the others that come on line. Has anyone looked closely at the construction, looks like quality?

I looked online at their site, noticed they are built in Minnesota. Are these being made by the same people that were building for the old beavertail? They were putting out a nice product.

Would be nice to see the layout of the inside of the side hatches. I like the idea of not having to bend over and reach under to get the rods out. Sure is pretty!

I have fished in it's twin sister (not identical) that a buddy of mine owns. Seems to be built very solid. Drafts shallow, handles well, as dry as you could ask for in a skiff of this size and style, and easy to pole. The Etec 60 pushed it 35 but I'm sure a different prop could get it faster if needed. The rod lockers are pretty cool if you don't mind the boat seeming like it has less room. Had 3 guys, a yeti, and gear in it and had plenty of room. We stored a bunch of stuff in the rod lockers along with our rods and it all stayed dry. Just wanted to share my experience with this boat's twin built around the same time.

Yes, the boat was built in the same shop in Minnesota as the original Beavertail B2, Osprey and BTX.
It's very comparable to the later years of those models in terms of workmanship, quality and value....and it's a 2013 with extremely low hours.

The rod lockers are awesome. You can fit 5 rods on one side and use the whole other locker as storage.
