Well here goes as the title says im a rather large mamal . I have never owned a boat an recently bought a 1997 Carolina skiff 19footer. I have yet to get it wet as i am putting some finishing touches into her. My biggest concerns are walking around in the boat and it wanting to like totally flip over or break the fiberglass floor. Now before every one starts in on the you should pick a diet bs i dont need to hear it. The boat is set up with a rear deck no live wells. A single group 31 battery and a 50hp 2stroke merc. I rock the scale at a solid 5 bills and yes i can swim

Thanks for making my blow ice cream out of my nose...that first sentence got me good!
You should be fine, those Carolina Skiffs can handle some weight.

Here is my suggestion...do not walk in the boat when it is on a trailer or dry land. Always have water under the hull when you walk.

Enjoy.
