I purchased a Lostman from my neighbor that has a tunnel. The motor is a 50Hp Yamaha 2 stroke that has low hours and runs perfectly. The boat has a no name 4 blade, 12 pitch prop that has a ton of cup. It has cavitation issues, and will run up to 5500 but quickly starts to cavitate and drops RPM's down to 4500 to 4300. Everyone tells me to take the boat to Jack Forman (about 2 hours from me) and he will build me one. My only issue is he is only available during weekdays, and of course I have to work.
Hoping one of my fellow Lostman owners could just get me close on prop size, pitch, and cup so I can use the boat, then run it to Mr Forman when I get some PTO.
