Drain plugs in the lowest level of the floor work much better than the traditional location close to the transom( I think that’s what Stealthcraft does). If located on the floor ( maybe under the rower’s seat), you won’t accidentally kick them out and you don’t have to tilt the boat back up off the trailer to drain. I once had a colleague that went on vacation for a week and left his plugs in, returned to find about 500 gallons of water in the boat! We spent an hour bailing out the water, would have been a lot easier if the plugs were positioned in a low spot. Just my 2 cents.Great to see competition in the drift boat sector. Cool looking rig!, looks super light, might want to think about widening up the thickness of the leg locks to be more comfortable, also even in a bare bones version might want to think about rowers storage and rod storage is a must , also hard to tell from the pics but is there an adjustable rowers seat and foot brace ? along with the ability to raise the oarlocks with spacers would be some must haves . Drain plugs positioned where you can store/ tilt we’re all the water comes out and doesn’t freeze, some type of Seadek or light color to cooldown the black interior, I’m not seeing many uses for the power pole micro on a drifter, I’d be interested in it’s application

You have any fees back on the coatings to help with oysters?Yes. Most new, high quality drift boats use an epoxy based coating such as Gator Glide or Frog Spit.
We took it further with our lamination. Carbon is extraordinarily strong and our lamination schedule is highly impact resistant even without a coating.

I rolled three or four coats of GatorGlide G4 primer and 4 coats of G4 top coat on my aluminum hull and oysters cut through it like butter. It’s supposedly the toughest coating for airboats and mud boats. Oysters will cut right into aluminum and just about anything but steel plate!Hahahahaha, yea. 🤣 would be nice to have a coating.

19 feet is roomy -- I was a little concerned with it being 16 or 17.Laid eyes on it this morning and talked with Mark. Yes it is a bare bones test boat. Think he said it is 19 feet overall, but weighs nothing compared to other drift boats. Locking rod boxes that can accommodate rods up to 10feet. Yes something is going to have to cover the carbon fiber.

I always thought the river skiffs were great to look at but I’d be nervous as hell on some bigger water. I’ve owned a few drift boats and rafts.
It’s a gorgeous boat but I feel like it’s an answer in search of a problem. Lavro was my favorite rowing boat. Think they would be up for Lavro (long since out of business) tough test?

Final adjustments are in the works. The final result will speak for itself.

That's not cool. We have made it 8 pages on speculation and tasty appetizers, and now you are pulling it away from us? I cry foul! More pics! More videos! Or, as an alternative, bring it down here and let me play with it for awhile and I'll stop complaining.We do, and it performed remarkably, but we can do better.
We are not releasing any more information until the final product is finished and ready to sell.
