I just picked up a new skiff and was wanting to put something in the compartments to try to keep the paint nice when things are bouncing around. Contemplating something like dri-dek or another variation.

Will this stuff conform to the compartment if its not flat? My front hatch has some angles to it so i was unsure how "stiff" this stuff is.

Also what about the little legs on the backside of it, will it dig in to the awlgrip paint after awhile if stuff gets banged around in there?

Sea-Dek would be nice but not really sure i want to deal with the adhesive and removal/replacement down the road.

Any other ideas/suggestions?

I've got dri-dek on the hatch floors of my HB. It is pliable to a degree and I trimmed it to conform/fit the space in the forward hatch angles. So far very pleased and it hasn't seemed to scratch.

DriDek is awesome and yes it will conform to angles. I have it in my bow compartment and rear hatch.

DriDek for the win! I have it in the bow of the skiff and bilge of the bay boat. Only downside is when its in a wet storage area (bilge), you have to occasionally clean out everything and clean the area under the DriDek. Not a deal breaker though for the protection it provides.
