Is it really possible to pole it from the platform?

River pirate I don't quite understand your question. This boat was designed to be a technical poling skiff. I have poled right up spooky reds. If you're talking about solo I prefer to pole from the front but with a full tank and a loaded yeti it still does alright. My favorite way to solo fish this boat is with a stand up paddle from the front deck on my yeti. Super effective and zero slap.

I think he was referring to the stability. Is it stable enough to pole from the platform?

I am interested, do you pull motor off transom for no motor zones? Can't really see if it's doable

I've pulled the motor off to use a trolling motor but I wouldn't reccomend doing it on the water. The motor is not bolted so it easy to remove.

Bonefish, I have a 15 hp and an 8 hp on mine and can pull the motor off no problem. Down in flamingo I just set it on some life jackets. It is a super fun little skiff to fish from as a second boat.
