Not mine, but an interesting Classic
Really like that hull design. For the right price, this would be a perfect restore project .
Kinda strange looking the way the rear decks curve into the cockpit towards the stern…never saw one like that before.
No helm seat?
Same guy as last one.. If I remember right, it was said at the time that the guy would be bringing others here at a later date.
cool boat, priced ? for no trailer and old engine?
Really neat looks just like one I fished on 15 years ago on a bonefish trip
Is that astro turf?
I would totally buy this and restore it to new...but I have a crappy hell's bay :'(
A lot of them didn't have poling platforms so the guides would stand on that wider rear deck to pole and still those guys could see bonefish from a long way away. They draw a little more but that skiff takes a chop better than most boats.
That makes sense…thanks.
There's a knock off of the super skiff that was (is?) built in the bahamas called a Rahming skiff which a number of lodges used for their fleets. They also had the wide gunnels in the back. I asked a Bahamian lodge owner once what he paid per hull (Rahming) and he said 4k. Someone else on here would probably be in the know about them more than me though.
