As Zika replied, I have a Mosquito w/ side console due to finish for p/u mid-January. I checked out & was fortunate enough to get a "check-out ride" in a Strike & then decided the side console Mosquito was what i wanted over the CC build. I also have contracted w/ Metal Fab of Tallahassee for a similar "console shelf" as Zika's for my Simrad machine. I like the "clean look" it gives the console. Looking forward to P/U date!

Read about your interest in electronic's shelf like Zika's. Mine shipped from Metal Fabrication of Tallahassee to BTS Monday. It was installed yesterday. Picture I received looks great. New Mosquito is supposed to be ready for P/U tomorrow; may be delayed until Friday due to Ramlin. I see you are on Sanibel; I am on Pine Island.

I think when Zika ordered his Mosquito that Hydraulic Steering was Optional. I just checked the build sheet / quote on my Mosquito side console & Hydraulic Steering is now Standard.
I picked my new Mosquito up this past Friday & put the first 3+ hours on it yesterday. Very happy I went w/ side console as opposed to CC. You do sacrifice some storage, but SO much more room!

Just checked the Boat ID Safety Tag. No mention of steering on placard.
Again, I checked the Quote / Build Sheet from Liz and it states Hydraulic Steering Standard.
Suggest that you satisfy yourself totally and confirm this when you speak w/ Liz.

Whats the side console boat rated for opposed to the center console? I would assume 4 people but wonder if theres a max weight difference.
