I am selling my 2003 Maverick HPX-T with 2008 75 Etec. The skiff was completely rebuilt by Tom Gordon and the Skiff Shop in May 2018. The only reason I am selling is because my new maverick will be finished September 8th. I do not have to sell but would rather not have two skiffs right now. NO LOW BALL OFFERS. The boat is priced to sell. The boat has always been covered or in a garage at all times. The items in the rebuild include:
-New paint,
-non-skid,
-custom console,
-electronics,
-wiring,
-all new throttle cables,
-controls,
-power steering,
-Minn-kota Riptide,
-power pole was updated with new parts,
-castaway custom tarpon seadek on casting/poling platforms,
-under gunnel carpet,
-under gunnel lights,
-console lights,
-new batteries,
-removal of old flip up push pole holders to stiffy holders,
-custom grab bar,
-additional bilge pump installed (oringal pump is in place but located in a bad spot),
-Fusion unit with two JL speakers,
-ProCharger
-Boat comes with matching green Taylormade cover.
Boat is listed for $28,000 and located in Port St Joe, Florida. (The boat was evacuated before Hurricane Michael hit). The motor has around 950 hours but has a newer computer with about 200 hours and I replaced the injectors in July of 2018 just as a precaution. Motor runs strong and I use the boat every Saturday and Sunday so it does not sit for long periods.
Boat runs (full load) at 35mph and light load 40mph. Boat runs in about 6 inchs and poles in 6-8 inches. Not many of these get on the market so don't miss out. Love this skiff and don't really want to sell but please only serious inquires please.
