So I took the pooch and and a rod for a walk across the street after work today and caught my first decent trout of 2019 so I though I’d take a quick pic of the moment. I put the phone back in my chest pocket and and released it back into the water and my phone plopped in immediately after. Dohhh!! After a quick evaluation of the situation, I emptied all pockets and wen into the 56 degree water. I kept the work coveralls and steel toed boots on to assist with getting back out over the oyster covered bulk head. Lesson learned: zip up pocket or use pant pocket, IPhone 7’s are definitely water resistant!
Lol. Awesome. My phone went for a swim in a fish tank I was using to test out how a fly rode recently. Doubt it was in the drink as long as yours but came out ok.
