I can find dimensions on the Tohatsu but not the Suzuki. Tohatsu's generally have really big cowlings and I want my poling platform to be as low as I can get it and still tilt the engine above the bottom of the hull when poling. Anyone ever run across dimensions for Suzukis?

Do they make the Zuk in a 15" shaft?

No, you're correct. The 25 does, but not the 30 even though they are the same powerhead. Supposedly you can put the brains for a 30 on a 25 and make it 30 horse.

Don’t try to have the platform made from numbers of the web. Enstal the engine on boat, run it (establish proper hight). I normally then trim engine to highest position and add 1”. You can go a little lower if you dare.;)

This is for a boat with out a hydraulic jack plate

No, I totally agree with mounting the motor first. Just trying to get an idea. And I doesn't bother me if my motor doesn't fully tilt without hitting the platform. My motor wouldn't on my BT and I never had an issue with it.
