Soon I will be picking up my new copperhead. What is a good transome saver that fits the float on trailer and a 50 etec. length, brand. Also what size safety chains would be a good choice. 1/4, 3/16 ??? This is my first boat so I know nothing.

Trailer should come with safety chains.

Great. Do you know what electrical plug comes on the float on trailer? I have a round seven pin on my Tacoma.

My float on came with a flat 5 plug. The fifth prong is for brake assist, even though the trailer doesn't have brakes. For whatever reason, they put that plug instead of a flat 4 prong. It's not a big deal, as it still fits in most trucks plugs, as the fifth prong doesn't get in the way. Just get an adapter for the circular plug.
