My neighbor had one of those white 20ft Moonlighter push pole on his skiff and the other day when he was hooking up his trailer, he thought it looked a little short. A quick measurement revealed the pole was now only 17 feet long. He looked for signs of a previously repaired joint but couldn't find any sign of it where it should be, so it has to be a different pole. Ive heard of people stealing poles but swapping one out, thats new. Guess these dirtbags had some conscious left

One of the last times I used the Homestead Bayfront launch ramp (a few years ago...) I came back to find that some considerate soul had removed the gas cap from my truck... carefully leaving the plastic strap that keeps you from losing the cap -with a nice neat cut mark... I guess I should have been grateful since they didn't steal the tires as well...

In all my years, from ramp to ramp... never had the slightest problem down at Flamingo....

Sorry for your loss and hope you can upgrade that pole when the money is right...

I had a Astro van when I was in Chicago. The third time it was stolen I got it back with someone else's rear wheels, a spare tire, jack and tire iron.

My van did not have these pieces and my wheels were brown. When I got it back the rear wheels were blue and the tires had much more life than the bald ones it had on before it was stolen.

When I got it back the gas tank was empty. The cops told me they steal them and drive around until they run out of gas.

I asked the officer about having someone else's items and he said, it's yours now- we'll never find the owner and never find yours. Then he said, be thankful you even got it back.

Time went on and it was stolen a 4th time. The police impound yard called so I went to claim it. They told me a 12 year old stole it and started it with a butter knife. This time the police told me I had to pay off my tickets before I would be able to take it away. He told me I had $4,600 in parking tickets - I handed him my title and said "paid in full" and walked out the door. That was the last time I ever saw that beat to living chit hunk of crap.

Who the hell bothers to steal a white push pole these days? I leave my glass Stiffy in the yard for days at a time hoping someone will steal it so I can get a Hybrid.
I painted my back up pole white. 21' Loomis carbon. Doesn't look that expensive sitting under the house or if I leave it out behind the house.

What a great idea. I have cut and epoxied my point back on numerous times from wear, taking off several feet. Where are you keeping that skiff these days Smack?
Under my carport under the Sunbrella boat cover. I keep my things close. I live in the country a mile off the main road and have an electric gate and two cattle guards to cross before an intruder can get to anything I own. That’s their ass if I’m home, shoot now ask questions later.
