Conchfish vs LT25 stability

2219 Views 6 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  m32825
You guys with CF builds are killing me. Your posts are like catnip. Even though I've never done it, the idea of building my own boat pushes a lot of the right buttons.

Having reached an age where I value it, I like the stability of my LT25. Can anyone tell me how the CF compares?

Thanks!

The Conchfish is closer to a whipray so I would think it would be more stable than your lt25. Whenever Travis finishes mine your more than welcome to check it out.

It will be finished as soon as I get off my lazy ass and do it.

I don't have any experience with higher end skiffs, so I need you guys who do to tell me what you think.

Stable enough that my 205lb butt can walk the gunnels and stand in the very back corners with no worries. Stable enough that my wife who has no balance at all is comfortable poling it. Less stable than a bay boat. More stable than a canoe.

I will second him that my 250 pound ass walks the gunnel of mine all the time.

Congratulations on your new ride! This question bugged you so much that you had to get first hand data, right?
