This guy puts it all in perspective:
Loved it!! Thanks.
If that isn't the dang truth, nothing is.
it took 6.2 seconds for the video to load. this sucks.
I can't find my remote...
now what am I supposed to do?
TV's all the way over there...
He hit it on the nail [smiley=1-thumbsup1.gif]
What are you complaining about, it took my system twice that long!!!
Yeah well I remember the days I couldn't watch a movie without stowing away in the trunk of a buddie's car and sneaking into a drive-in...errr...I mean paying my way at the drive-in....
You guys with computers and internet are spoiled rotten
I can never find the remote, so I always change the channel manually. I can't remember the last time I used my cell phone, but I think it's in my car. I still have a turntable, and I still have LP's to play on it. You may have even heard of one (Led Zeppelin, Yes, CSNY). Or at least you've heard one of the songs on an elevator. This could go on. And on. If you think all this is too much, then you haven't seen this:
I remember the days before video games (I know it wasn't that long ago) and dvd's, computers, remotes for ANYTHING and life was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO grand!
some of it is two-fold, though....
i easily remember before cell phones (im 36)............its a pain when youre out fishing, fish are biting...wifee calls..."when you coming home??" then you hang up, she calls right back, "forgot to tell you what the dog did.." then you hang up, then bob from work calls....you get the idea...
BUT....its nice to have that same cell phone, when the motor breaks and you need a tow, or you lock your keyys in the car, or whatever....
The best part was "your sitting in a chair in the sky!" ;D
I remember 27 cents a gallon gas... ;D
In 1969 I drove from Miami to San Diego. Gas for the trip in my VW totaled $33.00 . My first brand new car cost $2250.
