I've used them for 3 years, 1 claim, zero problems. They've been great. Switched to Charter Lakes in April, more coverage for less money. CHarter was highly recommended to me by a lot of people, including my local shop that deals with claims all the time.

 

Does anyone have any experience with Boat US boat insurance?  They are SUBSTANTIALLY less that Progressive for me and with better coverage.  I just want to make sure they have good service.

Any help would be appreciated!

Prices were nearly identical for me between progressive and BoatUS. I went with Flo.

People I know that went boat US are happy.

 

I had a Scout 177 that hurricane Ike ate in Galveston back in 2008. Boat US got the boat out of the lift and onto the trailer. Had the replacement coverage so boat was worth more dead than alive. No problems except they lost my titles when I sent them.

 

Got a quote from Charter Lakes...even cheaper than Boat US and even better coverage. Thanks for the suggestions! Will definitely be going with them.
