Is it too abrasive that it damages the galvanized finish? My wheels need some TLC too.

It provides a scrubbing thickness similar to that of sand, so it kind of depends on how hard you scrub this was done with steel wool, and I always spray a rust preventer on after just in case!

Powder coated wheels aren't cheap. After washing with soap and water I used straight white vinegar on mine recently to clean up water spots. Looked brand new afterwards.

Bought a used Mitzi skiff 2005, the trailer tires/rims had 15 years of neglect. Handy Bar Keepers Friend saved the day! Love their product and hope it can help out someone else with rust and grime, saltwater is tough so is Bar Keepers Friend!
Think your trailer hubs are what need attention, looks like grease all over the rim.
