Buddy is looking into this boat. The owner does not know what it is and I cant figure it out. Leaning towards a old dolphin. Any help would be appreciated. 17ft

No idea. Has nice lines though. Maybe have somebody with access to FCIC/NCIC run the registration and see if it shows a make/model?

The HIN should be on the transom,get the first 3 letters and look it up on USCG data base...I think there is a link to the data somewhere on...boat yard basics

We are still digging into it. I have not seen the boat in person but dolphin and BC have pretty much been ruled out.

That trailer is too narrow for the hull. When loading the fenders will rub the hull unless you have a steep ramp and those don't exist here in FL.
