Can anyone comment on the auto latching devices used to load your boat without having to lean over the bow and connect the winch strap? The video looks interesting but then again it is a promo video where nothing goes wrong. Also looks like they are showing fresh water environments and as you all know salt water is relentless when it comes to metal mechanisms. Not that I'm lazy.....just getting older and would like to be as efficient as I can to shorten my time at the ramp so others can launch/load........

Ive got a FLOAT ON w bow hook. No winch. Works great when set up correctly This took time. Wished I had a winch at that time. Boat loads and unloads great.That said , I fish by myself mostly ,so I still have to do the loading and unloading ,the climbing in and out ,the walking to the truck , the walking back down to the boat ,climbing back in the boat realizing I forgot my lines ,climbing back out of the boat , walking back the truck to get my lines and then get them back in the boat... still not in the water ...
Damn flashback. I do get my exercise....

How about a short loop of rope you have tied off on cleat and toss it over winch stand. The do the strap and chain once on land.

Friend of mine has a “ ramp n clamp “ on his wake board boat. He likes it fine. Tightens winch strap and chains up in parking lot. Level ground
