Surprisingly my black one is cooler to touch than stainless was. Not hot in the least bit

Aluminum has very high thermal conductivity. Every notice outdoor cast aluminum furniture and beach chairs are never hot. I have a black tower. It’s always cool on the feet when climbing. Wouldn’t mind a black wheel myself just for the glare reduction. Thinking of scotch briting my stainless wheel.

Go to marine connection in ft pierce Florida, i bought a beautiful stainless wheel with power knob for 130.00, they have a hundred diff styles, much better than black plastic..
