Only reason to get a Suzuki 60 instead of F70 is OEM pricing.

Only reasons to get Tohatsu 60 instead of F70 is you want 15" shaft, lightest weight, and don't care that it is F'n loud.

Only reason to get Mercury 60 instead of F70 is you're getting it for half price.

There are people that love their Honda, but I don't know where they get parts and service for them. So get the F70.

If you had included what boat you have I would have told you I think an F70 is too heavy for a Waterman because I had one ten years ago.

With that experience I put a 15” Tohatsu 60 on my new SC Pro, and it’s awesome for shallower draft, easier poling, and running shallow.

But you’ll have to speak up for your passengers to hear you when running, or crank two turtle boxes playing Metallica and enjoy the ride.
