this was in myrtle beach......
Holy crap! I jumped
LMAO that guy was too [smiley=1-lmao.gif] funny
You wouldve thought some one died the way they were acting. Lmao
I think I would have crapped my pants...that bull shark had to have been about 8-10 feet long, and in the ICW???!!!!! I kayak in that all of the time... kind of reminds me of this..
FWIW - that's not the ICW, that's Cherry Grove Inlet at the far north end of North Myrtle Beach, almost at the NC state line. Based on what I can see, the dock is right here: http://goo.gl/maps/tuki. The mouth of that creek opens directly into the ocean, maybe a mile away.
The ICW is inland a bit there, maybe 1-2 miles, and is basically just a big ditch cut through an area known as "the rock pile", finished back around WWII.
Still, a great video. Bull Sharks are *all over* the place, they go far, far upriver, even into freshwater no problem. That said, I've swam around them my whole life, and never yet been bit, whereas I have been hit by lightning, severe enough to lose control of my body. SO I'll take a shark chance over a random billion volts anytime...
Thanks for the vid, Will!
