state of nc issued bacteria warnings for 2 areas near Morehead city ( backside of radio island ,mouth of town creek )Tremendous tidal flow in this area. What do you think the water is like inshore , Pamlico Sound loses more water thru evaporation than what goes out it’s 2 inlets. Y all be safe out there

Not all strains cause us issues. We have strains normally found in out digestive tract. It’s the other strain(s) that cause us trouble. Would not worry too much about lemons. Washing them first is not a bad idea. Avocados are the same and so many just slice through the skin into the flesh. Wash those too.
