I don’t need an actual gauge as I can just look in back at the motor. I’ll just find a spot to put a line every 1” thanksI used purple every 1”.

I bet you could make the bob’s electric one work with a little customization.
My lowest point that I run is with the motor side of the plate even with the boat side(1”), then I started marking the edge of the motor side of the plate.I don’t need an actual gauge as I can just look in back at the motor. I’ll just find a spot to put a line every 1” thanks
Can you post a few pic's of this set up? Good idea!I went down to academy and bought a fish tape measure, the kind with the adhesive backing for putting on a boat deck or cooler, cut it to fit and it works well enough. The only one I could find was a black and white one, I would have rather find one that was brighter lettering like yellow or orange but it works
I can if I remember to when I get off but its just like the picture that Jonny posted but mine is black with white letters. I wanted one that was yellow with black letters and dashes but I didnt look hard enough lolCan you post a few pic's of this set up? Good idea!
What exactly is this measuring?View attachment 240372 I bought a three pack off Amazon for like $6 or something. So far it’s been holding up for almost a year. I have a bright yellow one I may swap. The silver blends in too well
Lift reference point is the top edge on the transom side. Looks better from inside the boat. Weird angle because I was standing outside the boat when I snapped the picWhat exactly is this measuring?
Welcome backGreat ideas, I’ve been just using the decal that it came with as a measurement, but I’ll buy one of these.
