If I buy one, it will be in Texas when I return in the Fall. But, while we are in TN. for the summer, I'd sure like to have a ten-minute trial run on such a skiff.

Go visit Big Frank’s Outdoors in Maryville, TN; he might have one that you can do a test run in. He’ll deliver to TX too if you buy from him.

I will most likely buy a used one. I wouldn't take advantage of Big Frank that way.

bigfranksoutdoors is one of the dealers i am considering he currently has a soloskiff deal with 3.5hp tohatsu for 2575.00 .. and he delivers.. as i am in raleigh, thats a 6 hour drive.. so still trying to find something more local... but its a pretty good deal.

Yes, Big Frank has an excellent reputation. He is only an hour or so from my TN place. But, since I will be buying used in Texas, I won't bother him. That sounds like a good price. Have fun!
