I think I remember a previous thread on launching thier boat with a motorhome but could not find it. Just retired and would like to see the State parks across the U.S. Just me and the wife and thinking about a 10 year old model under 40,000 miles. Like the thought of being able to tow my skiff while seeing Florida parks. Anyone have any thoughts good or bad on the Class C idea.

    Towing is the easy part.
To ease launching and keep the drive wheels out of the slick,
mount a hitch on the front end to produce better control and view, on the ramp.

    I have a Class A...
Class C has appeal, the over cab bunk, van chassis for maintenance and repair. The cab to coach joint and upper bunk body are the weak spots, prone to leaks. Many Class C lack outside storage, we tend to use our outside storage alot...

Just go for it... its all a big adventure anyway!!!

Most RVs are so heavy you have no traction issues anyway.

Thanks Brett we used to launch our rescue boat that way with the Rescue trucks. Thanks GTSR we are renting one next week and staying at Tomoka and Jetty Park to make sure this is what fits me and the wife best.

Well, you have 2 good spots picked out. Love Tomoka and Jetty Park is fun.

If you have not been to Juniper Springs, we love it there too.
